PRC urges members of 10 professions to join accredited professional organizations

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, Sept. 20 encouraged 10 professions to apply for accreditation with the Professional Organizations (APO) or Accredited Integrated Professional Organizations (AIPO).

Professionals in the fields of fisheries, forestry, librarianship, master plumbing, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, occupational therapy, physical therapy, professional teachers, and real estate service are among those who are not accredited.

"Interested professional organizations of the aforementioned professions are encouraged to apply and submit the documentary requirements for APO/AIPO accreditation," PRC said.

PRC said the deadline for filling of application and submission of documentary requirements are on Dec. 31.
