"Please know we will always be here for you and continue to support the reforms and plans you have for our country. It will always be a privilege to be able to call you my dad. Love you pop! Have a great one," he added.

Both the Office of the President (OP) and the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) likewise greeted the President via Facebook.

"We thank you for your leadership and wish you joy, health, and success in all your endeavors as you continue to guide the Philippines toward a more prosperous future," the OP wrote.

"Patuloy nawa kayong gabayan ng ating Maykapal para gampanan ang tungkulin para sa isang Bagong Pilipinas (We hope that the Lord will guide you so you can fulfill your duties for a New Philippines)," the PCO said.
