PDEA seizes nearly P49-M worth of shabu in Parañaque City buy-bust

Government anti-narcotics operatives seized on Tuesday, June 10, almost P49 million worth of shabu following the arrest of three suspects during a buy-bust operation in Parañaque City.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported that the suspects Normina Nandang Egoy, 38; Alfredo Ogali Egoy, 48 and Alvino Ogali Egoy, 47, were nabbed at around 2:30 p.m. at Lot 5, Block 11, in Camella Homes.
Initial reports did not indicate if the suspects were related as all of them were surnamed Egoy.
Aside from the 7.2 kilos of shabu, the operatives confiscated weighing scale, plastics, and a lighter; two Vivo android phone; two Oppo android phone; a Realme android phone; a Samsung keypad; one genuine P500 billand record notebooks with bank slips, several financial documents and ATM bank cards.
The suspects face charges for violation of Article II, Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
