Lea Salonga shares images from White House state dinner

Broadway star Lea Salonga shared photos of her visit to the White House in Washington, D.C. where she and two other Broadway stars Norm Lewis and Jessica Vosk performed for South Korean President Yook Suk Yeol last Wednesday night. Uploading images on Instagram on April 28, Lea said that it was she performed at the White House. She wrote: Oh what a night!!! This was my first time to perform for a state dinner at the White House! Among those who lauded her include Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, Filipino designer Rajo Laurel, who designed her gown; Jessica Vosk, Gary Valenciano, Jonjon Briones, Kevin Woo, Yasmien Kurdi,  etc. Lea is the first Filipino artist to perform at the formal reception. There have only been a few international celebrities who have performed at the White House. They include Usher, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Aretha Franklin, Buddy Guy, Ricky Martin, Regina Belle, B.B.
