Pat Espera's name may not ring a bell to most but she is actually the reason why Janine Gutierrez joined showbiz. But who is she really? Actually, she is the actress' nanny. In a recent episode of "Magandang Buhay," Janine revelaed how she entered showbiz in an effort to help Pat financially. Apparently, while Janine was in college, Pat was diagnosed with breast cancer. Janine felt so guilty that she can't do something for the latter. She considers Pat her second mother after all. It was then that she decided to give showbiz a try. "Sabi ko sa mommy ko (Lotlot): 'Mom, gusto ko ng mag-artista para may pang gamot si Yaya.'" Pat is thankfull well now. In the same interview, Janine recalled her fondest memory of Pat, relating how the latter would help her do her homework as a kid. She also bought her a dictionary. Pat has nothing but good words for Janine. She described the young star as "sweet" and "thoughtful."
