Ruru Madrid admits to past romance with Gabbi Garcia

Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia were once lovers. This is according to Ruru himself, making the big reveal in Thursday’s episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda." "Nung naging kami, sobrang bata pa po namin. Gabbi's 15. Ako po, 16," he said. "And then, siguro, somehow, malaking factor na magkatrabaho po kami, love team kami, kailangan laging kami makita na sweet sa isa't isa so siguro, dun, dun namin na-discover na in love kami," he added. Note Ruru and Gabbi worked together in several GMA shows including "Encantadia," "My Destiny," "Let The Love Begin," and "Sherlock Jr."

"Kumbaga, nadala kami sa moment,” Ruru related. It ended as quickly as it started, however. But not because of Bianca Umali, his current girlfriend. Ruru believes the relationship didn’t prosper mainly because he was quite immature when it comes to matters of the heart then. “ Siguro, somehow, ako, personally, hindi pa rin po ako—hindi ganun kalawak 'yung kaalaman ko when it comes to love," Ruru said. Gabbi is now dating Khalil Ramos.
