Jetour cars enter the Philippines

There’s a new auto brand in the market, and it goes by the name of Jetour Auto Philippines, Inc. (JAPI). Introduced at Okada Manila as the exclusive distributor of Jetour automobiles, the group held a preview of their initial lineup and their prices for the Philippines. Established in 2018, Jetour’s headquarters is located at the Wuhu Hi-tech Industrial Development Park on the banks of the Yangtze River, and exports its vehicles to more than 30 countries.
The brand plans to offer three new models, two of which are SUVs while one is a fully electric city car.
The first is the Jetour X70 is their seven-seat crossover, powered by a turbo charged 1.5L gasoline engine. It will be initially available in three variants, the X70 Journey is priced at P1.099M and will notably be equipped among many features, an eight-speed automatic transmission, 18-inch alloy rims and an Electronic Parking Brake. The X70 Travel, priced at P1.259M, will have an eight-speed automatic transmission, a panoramic sunroof and 20-inch alloy rims.
The X70 Sport will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, electronic rear tailgate, brown leather interior, and is priced at P1.299M. The larger, more premium Jetour X70 Plus will be priced at P1.499 million.
Jetour’s flagship vehicle, the Dashing, is a crossover SUV with a futuristic design and is equipped with advanced technology. Also powered by a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, will be equipped with 40-watt wireless charging, six-piece hi-fi Sony speakers, 12.8-inch LED touchscreen, five USB ports, and two USB Type-C ports in front.
It boasts of an intelligent entry system with it’s Smart Rubik’s Cube Key, Intelligent Driver Assist System, all-in-one sport seats, refrigerated center armrest console, a panoramic sunroof, hidden door handles and more features. It’s priced at P1.329 million.
Jetour also previewed their affordable, environment friendly offering, the Ice Cream, the most affordable, fully electric, three-door hatchback with a 120km range, can be fully charged at home in about 6 hours and is priced at P699K.
As an expression of confidence in the Jetour brand, JAPI will back up their vehicles with a six-year general warranty with unlimited mileage, and a 10-year engine warranty. *

The Jetour Auto Philippines’ management team is headed by Yves Licup, President, Michael Goho, Vice President, Miguelito Jose, Managing Director, and May De Los Santos, Marketing Director. Eight dealership locations have been initially identified in key points in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Jetour will be overseen and guaranteed by two major players in the automotive business: The Gateway Group and AutoSpeedyGo.

Jetour Auto Philippines will release more details as they publicly launch these vehicles at the upcoming Manila International Auto Show scheduled on April 13 to 16 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
Jetour X70
