Bettor from Cebu wins P16.3-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

A bettor from Mandaue City, Cebu won the P16.3 million jackpot prize of Lotto 6/42 during the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) evening draw on Thursday, March 9.

Its grand prize was previously won by a bettor last Feb. 28 who took home P50.7 million. Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9 p.m.

PCSO reminded that prizes exceeding P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law. Prizes not claimed within one year after the draw shall be considered forfeited, it added.
