Lone bettor wins P16.3-M lotto jackpot in March 9 evening draw


A solo player won the jackpot prize for Lotto 6/42 during the 9 p.m. draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Thursday, March 9.

Based on the summary of winners posted on its Facebook page, PCSO announced that a lone bettor bagged the jackpot prize for Lotto 6/24 worth P16,319,245.20.

The winning combination for Lotto 6/42 was 06 - 18 - 26 - 29 - 17 - 11.

In the same draw, PCSO also announced that 81 players won the second prize and will claim P24,000 each.

Meanwhile, there was no winner for Super Lotto 6/49. The winning combination was 30 - 37 - 32 - 07 - 26 - 38 with a jackpot prize of P15,840,000.

While there was no major winner, six bettors won P50,000 each as the second prize for Super Lotto 6/49.

PCSO reminded that all prizes above P10,000.00 are subject to a 20 percent final tax under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law.

The PCSO also reminded the public that all winning tickets should be claimed within one year from the draw date.

Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited to form part of the PCSO Charity Fund per Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.
