Francisco Martin makes a comeback with single 'Passenger Princess'

Filipino-American singer and songwriter Francisco Martin makes a comeback with a new single titled, “Passenger Princess”. The song pays an obvious homage to the viral TikTok trend of girls who don’t drive but get driven around. Martin first shot to fame with American Idol Season 18 in 2020, where he placed Top 5. From there, he quickly released a few singles before embarking on a coast-to-coast tour in the US. A singer with his heart-on-his-sleeve that produces soulful pop songs, Martin has garnered favorable comparisons to songwriter artists such as James Bay, John Mayer and Ed Sheeren. To date, he has released several hit singles, including “Swollen,” which has amassed 6 million streams on Spotify and has released his debut EP, Beautiful Ramblings of a Restless Mind, in 2021. Martin continues to grow in his craft with “Passenger Princess”, which is a tapestry of TikTok that includes aesthetic hedonism and mesmerizing melodies that make you want to go for a drive and create memories with your dream partner “just because”. Listeners can expect to hear the artist’s dreamy falsettos as the lullaby showcases a softer, more sensitive and serene side of him. “Passenger Princess” has a free radical-like soundscape and subtle pull for attention that bridges the gap between influences of indie rock and soul.
