Cavite orders resumption of face-to-face classes following end of transport strike

CAVITE – Gov. Jonvic C. Remulla ordered the resumption of face-to-face classes in all levels in public and private schools in the province, following the end of the nationwide transport strike. Executive Order No. 10 Series of 2023, signed by Remulla on Wednesday, March 8, repeals Executive Order No. 8, which directed the implementation of alternative learning modalities from March 6 to 12 due to the strike. After major transport groups announced the end of the transport strike on March 8, the executive order states that there is no longer a need to suspend face-to-face classes in the province. As the executive order is to take effect immediately, schools are expected to resume on-site classes on Thursday, March 9.
