Five people were arrested by the police for possession of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in Taguig on Thursday, March 9.
The Taguig police identified the arrested suspects as Neil Abalayan, 43; Amelia Samonte, 47; Jayson Castillo, 28; Wilmark Quioson,, 25; and Jofax Lasaga, 33.

They were arrested by personnel from the Taguig police’s Substation 5 along Labao Street in Barangay Napindan at about 3:30 a.m. The police were conducting “Oplan Galugad” when they saw the suspects allegedly in possession of illegal drugs. Confiscated from them were seven plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 25 grams with a total value of P170,000. The suspects were brought to the Taguig police for documentation.
