Busta Breezie, the TikTok star turned boxer and famously known as Salt Papi, returned to his native land in Candelaria, Quezon Province last Monday, March 6, to visit his relatives and reconnect with his roots.

Salt Papi was born in the Philippines and migrated to the United Kingdom when he was a teenager. He rose to fame by mimicking Salt Bae, a Turkish influencer whose antics caught the internet by storm a few years ago.

The 28-year old Salt Papi shocked the boxing world after knocking out Josh Brueckner, a former MMA fighter and a boxer, in round two with a powerful left hook that landed straight to the face of American bet at OVO Arena in Wembley, London last January.

Many social media influencers are showing off their skills in the boxing ring like Jake Paul, Logan Paul and KSI.

Salt Bae is currently undefeated in three amateur fights, with his first two wins against Hamad Khan and director Andy Warski made last year. (MARK REY MONTEJO, OJT)
