Luzon and Western Visayas will continue to experience colder weather with light rains due to the northeast monsoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Wednesday, March 8.
In the next 24 hours, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon or “amihan” may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light monsoon rains over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas.
Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms may prevail over Mindanao and the rest of Visayas.
These areas will have partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
However, PAGASA warned against possible flooding or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
