Negros Occidental wanted person arrested in Parañaque

A 39-year-old man tagged as Top 8 wanted person in Silay, Negros Occidental was arrested in Parañaque on Wednesday morning, March 8. Police said the suspect, identified as Junrey Jumatay, was nabbed around 9:57 a.m. in Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City by a combined team of Parañaque Police Substation 6 and Silay City Police Station operarives. Parañaque City police chief Col. Renato Ocampo said members of the Silay City Police Station coordinated with them for the arrest of Jumatay who is facing illegal possession of drug charges. Ocampo said a warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Leonardo B. Facultad, Jr. of Silay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 69 against Jumatay with recommended bail of P40,000. Ocampo said Jumatay was immediately turned over to the Silay City Police Station.
