Drug pusher falls in Nueva Vizcaya

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya – Authorities arrested a suspected drug pusher and illegal drugs worth P123,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Paitan here on Tuesday night, March 7. Suspect Leoric Untalan, 22, a resident of Barangay Salvacion, this town, yielded a transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 0.1 grams with an estimated market value of P680; white black backpack containing a brick of suspected marijuana leaves, stalks, and fruiting tops weighing one kilo with an estimated market value of P120,000, and three transparent plastic sachets containing suspected marijuana leaves, stalks, and fruiting tops weighing 20 grams worth P2,400. Untalan faces cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale) and Section 11 (Possession), Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Suspect was considered a regional target-listed drug personality.
