Rufa Mae Quinto recalls how Heart Evangelista helped her

Comedian Rufa Mae Quinto recently expressed gratitude to actress Heart Evangelista. Apparently, the latter supported her not long ago by buying some of her designer items including several shoes and watches. This, even though she didn't intentionally ask her. "That time, nasa Tupperware lahat ng shoes ko, tapos pinilit niya ako: 'Tara na, sige na dalhin mo,' hanggang siya na naglinis isa-isa, nilatag niya lahat," Rufa recalled in a recent interview with Boy Abunda. And she appreciates how Heart offered some of her stuff to her other friends. "Nakakatuwa nga eh, hindi ko naman siya binebentahan, siya na lang nagbenta," she said. "Kaya natutuwa ako sa kanya, napakabait."
In September 2021, Heart featured some of the pre-loved shoes she purchased from Rufa. “She had a little sale on her Instagram. I’m sorry guys if wala na kayong naabutan kasi binili ko na lahat ng magaganda. Sobrang ganda ng collection niya. As in almost all runway Chanel boots… But she was playing around with six five, six, and seven, and I could only fit size seven. So I also got shoes from her,” Heart shared then. “Gucci? 5,000 pesos? Tapos ‘yung iba nilibre na lang niya. ‘Sige na, okay na, ang ganda.’ ‘3,000 lang ‘yan, sige na, bigay ko na ‘yan.’ Ganyan. She’s so cute.” In the same clip, Heart explained she is willing to buy anything as long as she likes it. “I don’t mind… Of course, I invest in certain pieces like clothes, coats, jackets, certain skirts, certain dresses but … I love high-end, low-end.
