National Association of Independent Travel Agencies holds first general meeting

DOT Secretary, Christina Garcia Frasco, poses with the newly inducted officers of the National Association of Independent Travel Agencies, Inc. (NAITAS). She was the guest of honor at the 1^st General Membership and Business Meeting of NAITAS held at Mella Hotel in Las Piñas on Saturday ( February 25,2023) . The event had a theme of “Renewed Hope Towards Steady Tourism Recovery”.

The government official expressed her heartfelt appreciation towards the job of travel agents as she herself had a firsthand account their impeccable service whenever she travels. Everyone in attendance were all eyes and ears when she reported on the encouraging state of Philippine tourism as it recovers from the aftermath of the pandemic. Needless to say, the facts and figures she presented lifted the spirits of those involved in the travel industry.

The occasion witnessed the induction of 24 new members from across the country. By joining NAITAS, the inductees will have access to develop better business opportunities both domestically and internationally.
