Las Piñas Mayor Aguilar suspends face-to-face classes in public schools on March 8-10
Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced the suspension of face-to-face classes in all public schools from March 8 to 10 due to the ongoing strike of public utility vehicles.
Aguilar advised public school principals and teachers to implement the alternative learning modalities.
The mayor said private schools may decide on what learning methods they want to
implement.
Aguilar' made the decision after receiving reports that more commuters are having hard time to ride in going to their destinations.
Last Sunday, the mayor ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes in public schools from March 6 to 7 due to the transport strike.
