Inflation rate slows slightly to 8.6% in February

Philippine inflation rate has decreased slightly to 8.6 percent in February from 8.7 percent in the previous month.

Last month's inflation, however, remained elevated compared with only 3.0 percent in February 2022.

In the first two-months of the year, the rate of increase in consumer prices averaged at 8.65 percent, quicker than the 3.0 percent recorded in the same period last year.
