Who is Teves referring to?

Bakit?  Expected ko na na ako nanaman ang pagbibintangan (You know, this is what I've long feared. Why? I expected to be implicated in this)," Teves said in a video message posted Monday morning, March 6, referring to Degamo's death.

Citing his "many sources of intel", Teves, who is apparently out of the country due to medical reasons, claimed that a certain person is trying to pin him down in connection with the governor's killing.

Wala po akong pinapatamaan pero alam niyo kung sino kayo (Now I've just learned that some people out there want to pin me down. Maybe some of these just want to seek attention, or want to be famous for their own benefit. I'm not pointing to anybody in particular but you know who you are)," he said.

You know who you are. Don't use me as an instrument just for you to become famous)."

Alluding to Degamo's broad-daylight assassination, the veteran lawmaker said: "Ang ganitong pangyayari ay hindi kanais-nais at hindi maganda para sa progreso ng distrito at ng aming probinsya (This incident is neither desirable nor is beneficial to the progress of my district and our province)."

Despite his many references to the governor's killing last Saturday, Teves hardly mentioned Degamo's name in the Facebook video.
