As early as 5 a.m., the city government deployed service vehicles along major thoroughfares in Muntinlupa. The “libreng sakay” (free ride) will be available in Muntinlupa from March 6 to 12 from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Here are the routes: \- RMT to Alabang Viaduct and vice versa \(National Road\) \- Alabang Viaduct to Sucat and vice versa \(East Service Road\) \- South Station to Sucat and vice versa \(West Service Road\) - South Station to Buencamino and vice versa (Alabang-Zapote Road) - Biazon Road (Southville III) \- Sucat to Poblacion and vice versa \(Baybayin\) The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) and barangays also deployed vehicles for the “libreng sakay.” Mayor Ruffy Biazon uploaded a video on Twitter, showing a jeepney with strikers blocking another jeepney with passengers. According to Danidon Nolasco, head of the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau (MTMB), their personnel are monitoring the situation in the different areas. The strikers will just be given warnings and that the strike should be peaceful and no intimidation, he said. While Biazon believes that the transport strikers have the right to air their grievances, he said, “We at the LGU will just take action to alleviate mobility woes of our constituents during this time.”
