Israel partners with DLSU; hosts biz delegation to boost tech innovations

The Embassy of Israel in the Philippines has partnered with the De La Salle University in Manila to showcase the Holy Land's innovative solutions and why it is called the "Land of Innovation." The Embassy of Israel held a photo exhibit featuring Israel's innovative solutions in various areas currently available in the Philippines. Some of these are Viber and Waze.
Israeli Ambassador Ilan Fluss met DLSU students to discuss entrepreneurship and share Israel's innovation ecosystem and how innovation paved the way for Israel's hi-tech economy. In a Facebook post, the Embassy said the photo exhibit would be displayed in various universities and locations in the Philippines. The exhibit was first put up at the Senate, followed by the DLSU. Meanwhile, a business delegation from Cebu is currently in Israel to see its innovation ecosystem and Israeli technologies used in the agriculture and water sectors. According to the Israeli Embassy, the delegation attended meetings with Israeli companies for possible collaborations.
Cebuano businessman Michael Lloyd Dino, the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas during the time of former President Rodrigo Duterte, heads the delegation. Aside from the meetings, the business delegation from Cebu strolled around the Tel Aviv port area and Jaffa.
