Based on the summary of winners for the 9 p.m. draws, PCSO announced that there was one winner for Super Lotto 6/49. The bettor won a total of P18,765,983.80 after correctly guessing the winning combination 20 - 30 - 35 - 28 - 18 - 21. For the second prize, 19 bettors won P50,000 each. Meanwhile, there was no winner for Lotto 6/42 with a total jackpot prize of P5,940,00. The winning combination was 21 - 09 - 23 - 28 - 19 - 36. Thirty-four bettors won P24,000 for the second prize. As per PCSO, a 20 percent tax will automatically be deducted from the jackpot prize under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law. Under the PCSO charter, winnings should be claimed within one year from the date of the draw, otherwise the same would be forfeited to form part of the PCSO Charity Fund. The agency also reminded winners to “secure their tickets and write their name and signature at the back.” Moreover, the winning ticket “must not be wrinkled, folded, or even have a single tear on it” and the bar code must not be damaged as it is an “essential component of the ticket for validation.” More importantly, PCSO said that the lotto terminal should be able to read the barcode of the winning ticket. PCSO also enjoined lotto patrons nationwide to continue supporting its gaming products. Through this, the agency can provide charity services to individuals and institutions needing financial and medical assistance.
