K-pop groups Seventeen's BSS, NCT 127 top monthly album chart for February

K-pop boy bands Seventeen’s BSS and NCT 127 grabbed the first two places on the album chart for February in South Korea. 

Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the ranking for the physical album chart for the month of February. 

BSS, Seventeen’s subunit composed of Hoshi, DK and Seungkwan, topped the album chart with their “Second Wind,” released on Feb. 6, selling 694,655 copies in February, with an equivalent physical record index (PRI) score of 877,003.75.

Hanteo Chart now uses the physical record index, which combines the total number of copies sold and album price, in ranking albums. 

NCT 127’s “Ay-Yo,” the repackaged album of “2 Baddies” released on Jan. 30, placed second with 534,045 copies sold and a physical record index of 579,491.56. 

Trot singer Lee Chan-won’s “Fresh” is in third place in the monthly chart with 577,702 copies sold and physical record index of 548,288.40. 

K-pop group The Boyz’s “Be Awake” placed fourth with sales of 421,000 copies and PRI of 474,109. 

Tomorrow X Together’s “The Name Chapter: Temptation,” released on Jan. 27, bagged fifth place with 407,266 copies sold and PRI of 415,023.94. 

Here are the 30 best-selling albums in South Korea in Feburary based on Hanteo Chart’s PRI:
