Businessman shot dead in Negros city

BACOLOD CITY - Policemen are looking into grudges or business-related the possible motives behind the killing of a businessman in Barangay 4, Poblacion, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The victim was identified as Ronnie Pabilona, 47. Based on the police investigation, the victim was having lunch at their store when an unidentified person arrived and ordered food. The suspect then went out, and came back after a few minutes. Upon his return, the suspect shot the victim from behind, hitting his head with a .45 caliber pistol. The victim was taken to Governor Valeriano M Gatuslao Memorial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
