Water service interruption in Pasay, Paranaque, Muntinlupa until March 2
Maynilad Water Services Inc. said three cities in Southern Metro Manila will experience water service interruption for the next three days starting Tuesday, Feb. 28, due to high raw water turbidity brought by Amihan winds.
Maynilad said Parañaque, Muntinlupa, and Pasay Cities will experience a water service interruption from Feb. 28 until March 2.
The Parañaque Public Information Office (PIO) urged residents in the affected villages to store enough water for their consumption.
Barangays BF Homes and San Antonio will have no water supply from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parts of Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, and San Martin de Porres will also experience a water service interruption from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Barangays Merville, Moonwalk, and other parts of Don Bosco will have no water supply from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., including Barangay 201 in Pasay City.
Another water service interruption will be implemented in Barangays Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, San Antonio, and San Isidro including barangays 181 to 185 in Pasay City from 2 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Residents in Barangay Sun Valley will have no water from 5 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Barangays Alabang, Buli, Cupang, and Sucat in Muntinlupa City will also experience a water service interruption from 7 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
According to Maynila, mobile water tankers will conduct rounds to deliver potable water to the affected areas and will install water tanks in several areas in the affected cities.
