This, after the House of Representatives unanimously passed on third and final reading House Bill (HB) No.7185, or the prpposed Act granting Filipino citizenship to Kyle Jennermann.

A total of 244 House members voted in the affirmative to approve HB No.7185 during plenary session Monday, Feb. 27. There were neither negative votes nor abstentions during the conduct of nominal voting.

It was only last Feb. 1 when HB No.1764--which was the initial filing of the measure--was approved by the House Committee on Justice. Jennermann, clad in a traditional Barong Tagalog, attended the hearing.

"Kyle Jennerman is a Canadian national who found himself enamored with the Philippines. He firmly believes that the world be a better place to live if people around the world make the Philippines a part of their lives in one way or another," read HB No.1764, filed by Biñan City lone district Rep. Len Alonte.

"Through his vlogs, he has created and published thousands of video content showcasing his real-life interactions and connections with the Filipino people and their culture all throughout his eight years of immersive travel across out of the provinces," Alonte further said of Jennermann, who goes by the Filipino nickname of "Kulas".

Jennermann took to Facebook to write about the committee level passage of the bill.
