The Philippines on Sunday, Feb. 26 , saw 117 new cases of Covid-19, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
In the past two weeks, Metro Manila had the highest number of new infections with 431. It was followed by Davao Region with 239 cases, Calabarzon with 172, Western Visayas with 95, and Soccsksargen with 80.
The total number of active cases across the country is at 9,327, the DOH said.
To date, the Philippines has logged 4,076,237 confirmed cases of Covid-19 since the coronavirus hit the country in 2020.
Of the caseload, the DOH said that 4,000,813 patients were able to beat the viral disease.
On the other hand, the total number of Covid-19-related deaths in the country is at 66,097.
