Buy-bust operations in Antipolo City net 6 drug pushers

A series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by the Antipolo City Police Station resulted in the arrest of six persons over the weekend. Some P313,428 worth of suspected shabu weighing 45.9 grams were seized during three buy-bust operations by police in Barangays San Luis, Mayamot, and Sta. Cruz in Antipolo City, according to a post from the official Facebook page of the office of Mayor Casimiro “Junjun” Ynares, III. All the suspects were detained by Antipolo City police and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the "Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002." Charges for illegal possession of firearms are also being filed against two arrested suspects in the police operations in Barangays Mayamot and Sta. Cruz.
