Actor Leandro Baldemor is a successful star in showbiz, even though he was known for his sex trip (ST) movies in the 1990s.
At the launch of his first endorsement deal for King Tut Dietary Food Supplement in Quezon City recently, Leandro said that he is thrilled to be celebrating his 27th year in the industry that fed him and made him popular at the movies.
Basta lagi lang tayong nasa tama," said Baldemor when asked about his secrets to longevity in the entertainment industry.
Among those who attended the event were Jaime Serato, Chairman, Goldshine Pharmaceuticals Inc.; Gren Guadamor, Chairman of the Board and CEO, A-Ngatt Corporation; Jennifer Agbay, SVP, General Operations; and Lloyd Serato, Corporate Comptroller.
King Tut Dietary Food Supplement is distributed by Goldshine Pharmaceuticals Inc. and A-Ngatt Corporation.

But Leandro, 47, admitted that he was really affected when people called him a bold actor, as he gave a piece of advice to fellow actors who are into bold or sexy genre.
So galingan nila pag-arte. Mag workshop sila," the actor said.

Born in Manila and raised in Laguna, Leandro was only 18 when he was discovered by Bobby Yalong, who eventually became his manager, at the Kamuning Health Center in Quezon City, where he was taking his internship for his nursing degree at De Ocampo Memorial College in Manila.
Son of Wallie Baldemor who owns the biggest woodcraft industry in Paete, Laguna, Leandro said that he still gets offers to appear in sexy movies.
"May mga offer pa rin pero gusto ko trim and fit ako kapag lalabas uli ako sa sexy movies," the actor from Laguna said.
Leandro also described the present generation of bold stars as "daring."
"Ayoko lang talaga ng frontal nudity," he added.

Recently, Leandro appeared in the Kapuso series "Nakarehas na Puso". Now he's doing a movie entitled "Karma" which will be shown later this year. "Karma is action, sexy, and drama.
Leandro also said that he still works hard for his family these days. When not acting, the actor carves religious images.
"Let's face it. Susunod is 14 and then 13. Yung gitna babae," he said.
Asked which of his actor friends he would give King Tut Dietary Food Supplement to, Leandro said: "Lahat sila gusto kong bigyan kasi safe naman ito eh."
