Ogie Diaz on Liza Soberano: 'Nanghihinayang ako'

Ogie Diaz is worried about his former ward Liza Soberano.

This , he said, stems from the many comments he has been reading on social media about her.

He shared in his vlog, "Nanghihinayang ako sa career ni Liza... Siyempre nahu-hurt ako bilang former manager na nakakabasa ako ng ‘Ano nang ginagawa ni Liza sa sarili niya? Bakit nag-iiba na siya ng direksyon? Bakit noong nandoon pa siya sa ABS-CBN o kay Ogie Diaz maganda naman o maayos naman ang palakad sa kanya? Bakit nagiging fan na lang ng Kpop si Liza?’ Yung mga ganoon."

“Siyempre hindi ko naman alam ang isasagot ko sa mga fans dahil unang-una, hindi na ako ang manager. Nanghihinayang lang ako kasi pinaghirapan naming lahat ito. kung nasaan siya nandoon,” Ogie added.

Ogie is also worried that Liza may fail to retain her endorsement projects.

“Siyempre hindi natin alam kung yung mga suki ng endorsements ng mga brands ni Liza ay uulit pa lalo na’t hindi nila nakikita locally o sa mga palabas sa TV si Liza dahil pinili na nga niyang sa US sumubok at magbakasakaling makilala siya,” he related.

Ogie continued: “Siyempre alam ko naman ang kabuhayan nila Liza. Alam ko naman na lahat ng meron siya ngayon ay dahil rin sa kanya, sa pag-aartista niya. Hindi naman siya bago nag-artista ay mayaman na sila... Kaya ako nanghihinayang ako bilang former manager doon sa mga nakakawalang proyekto para kay Liza… kasi hindi rin naman nagkulang ang ABS-CBN ng pitching sa kanila ni Enrique Gil… pero wala silang inaaprubahan.”

Ogie then addressed Liza saying, "Anak, basta masaya ka dyan. Importante masaya ka."

Liza moved to Los Angeles, California last month.

In an effort to carve a name for herself in Hollywood, she signed with James Reid's management label, Careless.

She already scored an acting job, joining the cast of “Lisa Frankenstein” along with Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton.

Liza made headlines recently with her social media accounts having been wiped clean.

She ended speculations posting a series of photos of her along with a poem that seemingly talked about how one should not stop dreaming.
