Jim Paredes has released a new version of the iconic song "Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo."
It dropped on YouTube Thursday, coinciding with the 37th year anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.
The text in the description box read: "A remake of the iconic EDSA anthem of 1986 written by Jim Paredes. This time old veterans and millennials do the song with a modern arrangement, video treatment, and a fresh new rendition with a rap portion."
Featuring footage from the era as interspersed with images of the participating singers including Jim, Boboy Garrovillo, Noel Cabangon, Bayang Barrios, Leah Navarro, Pinky Marquez, The CompanY, Celeste Legaspi, Mitch Valdez, Bituin Escalante, performing in a studio, the video received praise from netizens.
