Sibol MLBB has completed its climb to the championship match, taking down Cambodia with a 2-0 victory in the lower bracket finals in the IESF World Esports Championship in Bali, Indonesia on Saturday, Dec. 10.

The Filipinos put up a masterful performance in the dominant sweep that allowed them to arrange a rematch against Indonesia – the same team that dropped them to the lower bracket – in the Grand Finals.
Armed with its signature UBE strat anchored on Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna’s Estes, Sibol simply had its way in the series opener with Kiel “Oheb” Soriano unmolested on his farming to quickly reach his power spike on the gold lane Lesley pick.
OhmyV33nus finished with a 0-1-15 line on the Estes while Oheb unloaded a 9-1-5 KDA. Salic “Hadji” Imam also dished out the damage from distance with his Pharsa pick to collect a 5-2-6 line in the 16-5 Game 1 win
Sibol showed no letup in Game 2 as it cruised to a 10-2 closeout to assure itself a silver medal finish in the world meet.
Oheb continued to shine on the Lesley pick scattering an impeccable line of 6-0-6 KDA while Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario asserted himself in the jungle battle with a 4-1-7 KDA on the Baxia.
Sibol, which was composed of the M-series defending champion Blacklist International takes on the Evos Legends-backed Indonesian team which will be coming into the finale with already one game ahead in the best-of-five series by virtue of its seamless upper bracket run.
