No water in parts of Cainta, Taytay on Feb. 23-24

Several parts of Taytay and Cainta in Rizal will have no water for six to seven hours on Feb. 23-24.

In its advisory, Manila Water announced that there will be water service interruption in parts of Barangay Santa Ana in Taytay starting at 9 p.m. on Feb. 23, Thursday, until 4 a.m. on Feb. 24, Friday, due to an emergency leak repair at Lupang Mitra corner Ejercito Avenue.

Portions of Barangay San Isidro and Barangay Dolores, both in Taytay, Rizal will also have no water starting at 10 p.m. on Feb. 23 until 4 a.m. on Feb. 24 due to Manila Water’s line meter and strainer declogging activity at Ortigas Greenheights Subdivision.

In Cainta, parts of Barangay Sto. Nino will experience water service interruption from 10 p.m. on Feb. 23 up to 5 a.m. on Feb. 24 due to the interconnection works of Manila Water at Mayfair Street corner Fernando Street.

Manila Water is encouraging the residents in the affected areas to store enough water ahead of the scheduled service interruption.
