It's Showtime launches 'Isip Bata,' trends online

Viewers are getting their daily dose of good vibes from “It’s Showtime’s” newest segment “Isip Bata,” which landed the top spot on the Twitter list last Monday (Feb.20).

In "Isip Bata," 20 madlang 'isip bata' or adult contestants guess the recorded answers of 50 'madlang kids' to the same question via multiple choice. The segment introduced a set of 'Batang Cute-po,' Argus, Kulot, Lucas, and Colyn, who will also share their answers to the questions.

At the end of the round,only one out of the 20 contestants will remain to play in the jackpot round,"Ap-Pair Tayo," wherein the adult contestant will choose a Batang Cute Po and they will have to match all three multiple-choice answers to win the P50,000 jackpot prize. Each same answer is equivalent to P10,000 in case the contestant will not be able to match all the answers. The contestant will choose their answers first then afterwards the host will let the chosen Batang Cute-po answer the same set of questions.

On its first episode, 20 celebrity moms were the first to play the game as madlang 'isip bata.' Comedian Moi Bien was only able to match one answer with Kulot and took home P20,000, including the P10,000 she won from the first round.

Netizens praised the segment's production value, format, and the entertainment they get from the Batang Cute-po.

Meanwhile last Tuesday (Feb.21), the show introduced Darren Espanto as the newest judge of "Tawag ng Tanghalan."
