‘The Heavenly Idol’ Kim Min-gue to hold fan meeting in Manila 


Korean actor Kim Min-gue, star of the dramas “Business Proposal” and the ongoing “The Heavenly Idol,” will be coming to Manila.

Kim Min-gue (Kim Min-gyu / Kim Min-kyu) will hold his “Heavenly Moment” first fan meeting in Manila on April 14 (6:30 p.m.) at the New Frontier Theater, according to announcements by Rise Media Philippines and FanGirlAsia.

“Get ready to have a heavenly moment with Kim Mingue this coming April 14 at the New Frontier Theater for his first-ever fanmeet right here in the Philippines! It may not be a ‘Business Proposal,’ but say yes and we’ll see you soon!” posted Rise Media Philippines.

His acting career started with an appearance in the drama “Monstar” in 2013 followed by supporting roles in “Who Are You? School 2015” and “Signal” in 2016.

Kim Min-gue gained prominence on TV when he appeared as a mystery singer on the show “I Can See Your Voice” in 2017. The YouTube video on his appearance on the show has garnered 25 million views to date.

The 28-year-old star starred as a lead actor in the dramas “”Drunk in Good Taste,” “Perfume,” and “Queen: Love and War,” and in “Backstreet Rookie” and “Snowdrop.”

Last year, he starred with Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Se-jeong and Seol In-ah in the SBS-Netflix drama “Business Proposal.”

This month, Kim Min-gue signed an exclusive contract with agency Companion Company.

His current drama “The Heavenly Idol” with Go Bo-gyeol and Lee Jang-woo premiered on tvN on Feb. 15.
