Motorcycle-riding man gunned down in Parañaque


Police are establishing the identity of a motorcycle rider who was shot dead by four armed men in Parañaque City on Monday morning, Feb. 13.

The victim was described as 35 to 40 years old, with a tattoo on his arm, wearing a black t-shirt and gray maong pants.

Police said the incident happened around 12:20 a.m. in front of a fast food restaurant in Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City.

According to police investigation, the victim was on board an NMAX motorcycle with plate number MV 1304-0903698 when shot by the suspects.

Police said three of the suspects were on board a white Vios taxi with body number JDCM and plate number ATA-8397 while the other suspect was riding a motorcycle.

Responding policemen found the victim lying on the road with a gunshot wound in the head beside his collapsed motorcycle.

Police learned that the suspects fled towards Doña Soledad Avenue, Parañaque City heading to Bicutan area.

Probers are eyeing illegal drug trade as motive behind the killing based on the messages found on the cellular phone of the victim.

Police are also coordinating with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to determine the owner of the taxi used by the suspects as getaway vehicle.
