It’s happening: Auro Chocolate and Daniel Corpuz team up for chocolate masterclasses

Coming this summer season to Enderun Colleges

Award-winning tree-to-bar chocolate company Auro Chocolate partners with New York-based pastry chef and chocolatier Daniel Corpuz for a series of masterclasses this March 2023. In collaboration with Enderun Colleges, the not-to-miss event will be hosted in a state-of-the-art culinary amphitheater and kitchens of the esteemed culinary arts school. 

Daniel, who appeared on the Netflix series “School of Chocolate” with world renowned pastry chef Amaury Guichon, is scheduled to arrive in the Philippines next month. The Filipino-American creative will share his experiences from the show and teach chocolate lovers and connoisseurs how to create showstopping edible pieces.

“I have a countdown set for March, cause I’ll be in the Philippines. Visiting @aurochocolate’s cacao farms in Davao, and will be scheduling events in collaboration with them in Manila, which might also include a pop-up,” tells Daniel on an Instagram post. “If you’re in the Philippines and ever wanted to try my chocolates, learn how to make bonbons, or just meet me, keep an eye out for my upcoming schedule while I’m in the Philippines.”

Philippine Coffee Bag Demo
Mar. 10
Learn how to make one of his iconic pieces from the show during, the Coffee Bag, with this 5-hour introductory class. Participants will learn to create coffee mousse, Auro Chocolate cake, mango compote, and Auro white chocolate cremuex.

Bonbons and Confections Masterclass
Mar. 11, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Get your hands dirty and dive into chocolate and learn how to make his beautifully crafted and delicious bonbons first hand to refine and perfect your skills. Perfect for those who have prior pastry experience, participants will develop polishing, decorating, tempering, shelling, filling, capping, and molding.

Tinkling Chocolate Sculpture Masterclass
Mar. 12, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
An advanced class on chocolate sculpting, learn how to make an impressive edible piece that will surely be a showstopper. For those interested with chocolate sculpting and hold training experience, this masterclass will teach the following sculpting skills: granite bases, spreading chocolate along bars, filing a PVC pipe, spraying and polishing, sculpting chocolate, and building the showpiece.
