Pasay City gov’t offers free certified true copies of birth, death, marriage certificates


In celebration of Civil Registration Month, the Pasay City government is offering free certified true copies (CTC) of birth, death, and marriage certificates.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the free services is being offered by the Local City Registry Office (LCRO) on Feb. 13 - 17.

Romulo Tresvalles, chief of the LCRO, announced the city's plan of providing free certified true copies of birth, death, and marriage certificates during the regular Monday flag-raising ceremony at the Pasay City Hall quadrangle.

Tresvalles said applicants must present valid identification cards to avail of the free service.

Applicants whose name is not indicated in the documents must present an authorization letter in accordance with the provision of Republic Act 10173 or the Data Privacy Act.

Rubiano said Trevalles also reported a record total of 13,328 civil registry documents.

She said the LCRO issued 1,675 marriage license, 15,260 recorded in the civil registry book, and 9, 683 data were encoded and other documents for easy data verification and retrieval.

The LCRO conducted mobile registration in barangays and schools.

Rubiano said the LCRPO is also using social media platforms and renders 24/7 service by answering the questions and complaints of those who are trying to secure their documents from the city government.
