Japanese actor-producer Jacky Woo to resume showbiz career in PH

Japanese actor-producer Jacky Woo has arrived in the country to resume his showbiz career.

During an intimate chat with members of the entertainment press at Eastwood Quezon City recently, Jacky said that he's excited to make a career in the Philippines.

"I have met some celebrities in the Philippines and I hope to work with them in the future," said Jacky, as he spoke through an interpreter.

One of the celebrities he look up to is Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos-Recto.

Jacky said that he is amazed at Ate Vi when he saw her movie "Anak" which was shot in Hong Kong.

"Until now I cannot forget that movie. It's a beautiful movie. I really hope to work with her soon," he said.

Jacky said he also admire Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado, Cesar Montano, Rufa Mae Quinto and Sen. Robin Padilla.

"I love the comedy movies of Rufa Mae Quinto. I have worked with Jennylyn, Cesar and Robin. I am so happy Robin is now a senator. I hope to see him again," Jacky also said.

Jacky also said that his team will hold auditions for upcoming projects which he will reveal soon.

Auditions will be held in nearby provinces in the coming months, Jacky revealed.

Aside from acting and producing, Jacky said he loves to dance.

Asked about his personal life, Jacky also said that he's planning to settle down with a Filipina.

"The Philippines has a special place in my heart. So I'm thinking about marrying a Filipina in the future. We will see," Jacky added.
