Cherry CaREs, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of CHERRY, continues its tradition Project Twinkle by reaching out to different child caring institutions, home for the elderly center and IP Community. Project Twinkle has been a CSR program since 2021 in an effort to bring off the spirit of giving throughout the holiday season.
On its third year, a simple get-together was initiated, including sharing meals, exchanging gifts with fun games, and distributing the Noche Buena package. Last December 2022, food and toys were provided to the kids at the Virlanie Foundation, Masaya Home, Concordia Children's Services, DSWD- Reception and Study Center (RSCC) and House of Sarang. These child caring institutions have been restoring the smiles of street kids giving both residential and community-based programs. We also reached House of Somang home for the elderly and prepare a dance performance from Cherry and Mobi to entertain them. In addition to the outreach event, the children have received in-kind donations such as hygiene essentials such and snacks. For the elders, a care package and multivitamins to fulfill their wish list.

“We’ve been running Project Twinkle for three years now, it is a Christmas Gift Giving, bringing people together to ignite hope and instant enjoyment even with a simple gesture.” says Agnes Conopio, PR and CSR Head, CHERRY.
Recognizing the needs of different indigent communities and institutions, Noche Buena packages are distributed to 100 recipients from the Aeta community in Dinalupihan, Bataan. Also, there are 100 street families from Manila District 1 to 6 who received food baskets. In partnership with Department of Social Welfare and Development - National Capital Region we are able to make it possible. This is a time pause to consider how important positivity and helping those who are in need.
