Korean, Pinay yield P1M shabu in Makati


A Korean and a Filipina were arrested by joint operatives of the Makati City Police, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Inter-agency Drug Intradiction Task Group, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP AVSE Group), Customs, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in an anti-drug operation in Makati City on Feb. 6.

The suspects were identified as Angeline Claire Nacua, 25 years old; and Choi Sol, a Korean national, 38 years old.

The operatives raided the condominium unit along Nicanor Garcia Street, Bel Air, Makati City at around 5:30 p.m. where the two suspects were nabbed.

They recovered a parcel tagged as an "Antique French Phone" from Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, France, consigned to Nacua containing P1 million worth of shabu, a blue clipboard, a parcel receipt, a copy of the invoice, two identification cards, three cellular phones, and four master cards.

Nacua and Sol are now under the custody of PDEA.
