Locally known as “Sampung Mga Kerida,” “Ten Little Mistresses” is about Filipino billionaire Valentin Esposo (Arcilla) and his 10 mistresses.

The women fight it out to become his legal wife. But when Valentin turns up dead, all 10 women end up as prime suspects. Now they must race to prove their innocence and unmask the real killer before the police find out.

The Idea First Company’s Jun Robles Lana (director) and Perci Intalan (producer) are the duo behind blockbuster and critically-acclaimed movies such as “Big Night,” “Panti Sisters,” “Born Beautiful,” “Die Beautiful,” “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes,” “Bwakaw,” “Barber’s Tales” and “Kalel 15.”

“I’ve always waited for the chance to do a murder mystery film. And with Prime Video, everything fell into place so perfectly. We had so much fun even though we worked long hours with a dozen cast members. We just want to make the audience laugh; to show even non-Filipinos that our comedy is universal,” said Lana.

Intalan said, “When we pitched this to Prime Video in L.A. (California), we realized how massive the global audience could be for our film. But it’s still surreal now, knowing that we’ll be in 240 countries and territories. We’re just grateful that we give justice to the hard work of every world-class Filipino artist involved in the film.”

Prime Video earlier announced that its first Filipino Amazon Original movie will be streaming worldwide in more than 240 countries and territories on Feb. 15.
