Man found in possession of firearms, ammunition in Concepcion, Tarlac arrested


TARLAC CITY -- A 47-year-old man with several firearms in his possession was arrested during the implementation of a search warrant in Brgy. Sta. Rosa, Concepcion, Tarlac on Sunday, Feb. 5.

Joint personnel of Criminal Investigation Detection Group (CIDG) Tarlac and Concepcion Police implemented a search warrant issued by Presiding Judge Percival Atinaja of Regional Trial Court Branch 113, Concepcion, Tarlac against Falcon Fabula of Brgy. Sta. Rosa in this town.

During the search, the authorities found the subject in possession, control and custody of assorted firearms and accessories, including caliber 5.56 rifle, magazine assembly for caliber 5.56 rifle; 102 ammunition for caliber 5.56; caliber 9mm pistol; magazine assembly for caliber 9mm pistol; 12 ammunition for caliber 9mm; caliber .40 pistol; magazine assembly for caliber .40 pistol; 46 ammunition for caliber .40; black colored bag for rifle; and black side holster.

Fabula, who is now under the custody of CIDG Tarlac, is facing charges for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
