Nat'l University-Manila leads January 2023 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Exam


Six graduates from the National University (NU)-Manila entered the top 10 highest places of the January 2023 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination and was also hailed as the board exam's top-performing school.

This was announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, Feb. 3.

Thirty out of 33 examinees from NU passed the exam, which garnered an overall passing rate of 90.01 percent, PRC said.

Juslin Philip Sanchez Pulanco from NU is the board exam's top notcher with an 86.38 percent rating.

He was followed by Ben Serafin Rillon Melchor from Mapua University-Manila with 85.06 percent.

NU graduates Maria Christine Araceli Jaucian (83.56 percent) landed in the 4th spot, Dilton Lee Chen (82.73 percent) is in the 6th spot, Miguel Francisco Estenzo Teñedo (82.64 percent) is in the 7th spot, Maveric Marqueses Enriquez (82.31 percent) is in the 8th spot, and Michelle Fernandez Digao (82.03 percent) is in the 10th spot, as per PRC.

In the advisory, the commission said that 198 out of 318 examinees successfully passed the exam given by the Board of Sanitary Engineering in the National Capital Region, Davao, and Rosales last January.

The date and venue of the oathtaking are yet to be announced.

"From March 20 to March 23, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals," PRC added.
