A 57-year-old man wanted for qualified rape was arrested by operatives of the Antipolo City Police Station and Rizal Police Provincial Office in Imus, Cavite.
Rizal Police director Col. Dominic Baccay said the suspect, a resident of Antipolo City, was nabbed in Bayan Luma II in Imus on Feb. 1, following information that he went into hiding after committing the crime in January.
The suspect was nabbed on the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by a family court in Antipolo City.
Baccay said the suspect was included in the list of most wanted persons in Region 4-A.
