LTO holds road safety seminar for bus firms operating in Metro Manila


The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has conducted a road safety seminar for the personnel of bus companies plying the Metro Manila and nearby provinces routes.

Roque I. Verzosa III, director of the LTO-NCR West, said the move is part of the government's program to have safer roads for all motorists.

The bus companies that participated during the seminar on Jan. 30, were the DLTB Bus Co., VTCI, PSNTI, GV Florida, Phil. Rabbit, Partas Trans Co., Baliwag Transit, Sta Lucia Express, Victory Liner Inc., Del Monte Motor Works, Ceres Transport Inc., BBL Trans System Inc., JAM/Solid North, Cabdin Bus Line, Five Start Bus Co., Baliwag Trans Inc., and Fariñas Trans Inc.

Part of the discussion the importance of checking the roadworthiness of buses, as well as other road safety issues.

Verzosa, meanwhile, invited the participants to join the newly-created LTO-NCR West Viber Channel, where they will be updated on the agency's latest pronouncements and developments.
