Senator Chiz Escudero opened up on his alleged rift with wife Heart Evangelista recently.

Asked about it on ANC's "Headstart," he said: "We face daily challenges whether with family, with marriage, with work or even your own personal health."
Those expecting juicy details came away disappointed though.
According to the lawmaker: "My public life has always been separate from my private life. If I did not speak about my private life before, I will not be breaking that by doing so now."
Talk about Chiz and Heart's supposed troubles started September last year.
This, after Heart took to social media to issue some cryptic posts about her going through challenges.
Adding fuel to the fire was her decision to drop her husband’s surname from her social media handle.
Fans were only able to heave a sigh of relief after Heart posted photos of them together last New Year's Eve.
As to the ribbing he received from colleagues during a recent Senate session relating his supposed "wonderful aura" upon returning from a long vacation, Chiz related, "Patawarin nalang natin sila dahil hindi nila nalalaman ang kanilang sinasabi."
"Nangangantiyaw at nang-aalaska lang ang mga 'yan dahil matagal kaming hindi nagkita," he added.
