2 most wanted persons in Laguna nabbed in separate operations


LAGUNA – Authorities arrested two of the most wanted persons in the province on Monday, Jan. 30.

Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) said the first operation collared alias Denver Rejada in San Pedro City.

The accused was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant for robbery issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 108 in Cabuyao City, with a recommended bail of P100,000.

In a separate operation, Biñan City Police Station (CPS) nabbed alias Amador, who had a standing arrest warrant for violating the Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

The warrant of arrest was issued by RTC Branch 155 in Biñan City, with recommended bail set at P180,000.

The arrested persons are now under the custody of the police operating units.

In a statement, Laguna PPO Director Colonel Randy Glenn G. Silvio recognized the trust and partnership between the police and concerned citizens who report information about wanted persons.
